After you’ve dealt with the rather weak adversaries, take a peek to the northeast. A campfire should be visible rising above a little rocky mound ahead of you. As you walk approach it, you should see a nomadic merchant sitting and playing his strange instrument with his horse nearby. As you approach, the guy will repeat his ‘open for business’ message, so consider purchasing some of the cookbooks he’s holding; after all, he says he’s been hungry for a while, and you wouldn’t want the poor guy to go hungry, would you?
