The mint grade is D. Both the front and back are quite soft. I'm also selling one made in 1898. I inherited it from my grandfather. He said he got it after the war when he was selling tobacco to American soldiers in the black market in the downtown area. I have a fair number of coins dating back to 1945, the year the war ended, so I will be gradually putting them up for sale. I haven't polished them on purpose.
